Bill Pontarelli

Bill Pontarelli has played music with greats of all genres, everyone from Doc Watson to Bob Wilber and Joe Wilder. He swings harder than anyone in the West and Bill hence his nickname: 'THE BEST IN THE WEST." HE has enlivened the music scene doing everything from Dixieland to Bluegrass, traveling across the world to play his clarinet like nobody's business. This guy is simply INCREDIBLE!

Jerry Rudy, Gypsy Jazz, Django Reinhardt, Trapdoor Media
Jerry Rudy

Jerry Rudy was the head of The University of Colorado's Psychology Department for the last eight years, when in a fit of inspiration, he fell in love with the music of Django. Jerry has spent several years now studying gypsy swing rhythm guitar, and he has made a pilgrimage to Samois, France, to the Django Festival. Twice he has hosted the Robin Nolan trio in the US, and now Jerry plays rhythm guitar for David Williams in Deco Django. Jerry performs on one of the magnificent Shelly Park Maccafferri style D-hole guitars, a copy of the guitar Django played at the start of his career.
